225 – big ben and trafalgar square

Niin ja parit vinkit ajattelin antaa Lontoossa käyville ruoan ja ostosten suhteen, just wait for it! 😉

Bear with me for a couple more posts about the amazing city of London, I promise there won’t be much more of these coming. And don’t worry, I’ll be publishing something more in the middle so you won’t get all bored up. This time I’m gonna talk a bit about our visit to Big Ben and to the Trafalgar Aquare. BTW, you can follow these trip posts under the tag ’Matkailu avartaa’.

Big Ben was everything I ever dreamed of. It was big, it was on time and it was just sooo gorgeous. And the Parliament Square was pretty amazing too, I loved the old buildings and everything. All and all the experience to get there was awesome, I’ve never been so happy in my life. Though it was the seconf best day in my life so far, I might tell you a bit later what the 1st is 😉

On Thursday evening we were forced by my work colleagues to take a ’different’ buss tour around London (no but seriously, I loved the buss tour – I’ll tell you more about it later on) and I’m so glad they organised that. I couldn’t believe my eyes when we walked up the stairs form the Subway, the view was breathtaking. That was the first time I realised that ’Damn, I’m in London’! 😀

Anyways, there’s gonna be at least posts about how we got around London, about our trip to Warner Bros. studio’s, telling the story about the buss tour we had and I might also give you a few tips on where shop, eat and have coffee in the city. Stay tuned.
